About

6 green homes are opening their doors for a day in Combe Down and Odd Down. Look around and hear from the home owners how they approached the challenge of making their homes warmer, free from damp, cheaper to run and with lower carbon emissions. The event includes old solid walled houses, 1920s and 1950s cavity walled houses and modern state-of-the-art zero carbon houses. Click through to read descriptions of each home on the website, listing the energy efficiency measures of each house and the visiting arrangements.
